By George, I think I’ve got it!

Hello Friends,

For those of us in Northern California who are anxious for blue skies and warmer weather, hooray, it is here!

The online shop – By George I think I’ve got it!

I have been hoarding vintage and antique accessories – some of my very favorite pieces – for the online shop. I didn’t want to let them go at the end of an era sale, because I thought they would make my soon-to-come shop look cool. Or I thought I might use them for a client. However, it’s been eight months, and they are not doing anyone any good in my inventory closet. Once they are gone, I don’t imagine I’ll ever have anything as cool as them again, because I have lost the thrill of the hunt for antiques, but it’s time to let them go. It’s too time consuming to put them online, so here are three ways this “letting go” will happen:

  1. I’ve already reduced the price of some of the items in my shop. Take a look. If you’re local you can pick up, or I can deliver to save shipping on the larger pieces.
  2. I am posting some of the things I have not yet listed in the shop here, with a price I hope to get, and y’all have at it. Email or call me if you want to buy or make an offer.
  3. I may have a private sale here in San Jose, or a pop-up in a local shop. I still won’t be giving things away but I would love to see you!

So what will I be selling in my online shop? I foresee jewelry. Estate and handmade. I have been passionate about jewelry since I started making my own 30 years ago. I wear, I love, I make, I collect, I buy, I sell. Other special items may come and go depending on what goodness I come across.

I did not want to admit this months ago, because I have been known to change my mind, but I have known for a long while. When I thought long and hard about what the ideal situation would be after closing Saffron and Genevieve, it was easy – I would concentrate on paint color consultations, and sell one of a kind jewelry in my online shop. If I hit it off with a client and they want me to help with interior design, I would be happy to. Once I came to that conclusion, I needed to make it happen. I’m working with Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams to connect me with clients and I am loving it! I’m adding more jewelry to my shop every day, I find it interesting that adding the jewelry feels less like work than adding other items. I am making more and I will always be on the lookout for unique pieces.

I am posting images of things I am BLOWING OUT here 🙂

Thanks for reading. I will be adding more images on Facebook and Instagram. Please let me know if you are interested in anything.
