a change is gonna come (nothing major, don’t worry)

Hi Friends,

I felt the need to put the disclaimer in the subject line because some of you jump to conclusions without reading closely. Saffron and Genevieve is not closing or moving. I have always sold what I loved and in the past, I lived in places where the chippy and the rusty worked well. Now that I live in this beautiful home that wants a different style, the shop and I are going in a different direction. In case you missed it see this post here.
It is just so weird how I don’t want so much crust or peeling paint in the shop anymore. I used to think it was so pretty, and now my idea of pretty has changed. I don’t know if I will go to Texas next year, or instead to the New York gift show, or perhaps to the Gem Shows in Tucson! Wherever I go, know that I am super stoked on whatever direction the shop is going.
Oh, and Christmas! You betcha I am listening to the Christmas music already, and after much deliberation, we are renting a tree. For the first time in over 10 years I will be decorating for Christmas at home, which means I will also be decorating the shop a bit more than I do now. I will actually have some ornaments for you!
I’d love for you to stop by and see what’s new. Many treasures will be arriving in the next few weeks, including loads of beautiful jewelry. I want you to find the perfect gift for yourself, your home, or a loved one. That mission will never change.

See you soon,
Scarlett

PS I know you want to see pictures of the new house. That is not going well. The lighting is always an issue but I will get a professional in early next year. Here are a couple of poor quality sneak peeks to tide you over. I feel the need to tell you that I let Andy hang these botanicals. Also, I misted my Maurice Connolly sphere with gold, and we hung it upside down just as a trial.
